The Ft. Lauderdale Boat Club
(FLBC) was established in 1957 and is a fun-loving family of boaters, who
are owners of boats ranging in size up to 45'. We share experiences,
knowledge and good times to derive the greatest enjoyment from safe
pleasure boating. Our mutual interest in boating, provides a basis
to meet new people, make good friends, enjoy a strong fellowship, and of
course, to enjoy our boats.
SCHEDULE OF FLBC
ACTIVITIES
All meetings are held on
the 2nd Thursday of each month. We meet at area restaurants at 7:00 P.M.
The location of the meeting is posted on our "Meeting Page" on our website.
Generally, we plan one or two
weekend boat trips a month. These trips are decided upon by the Fleet Captain(s)
and consist of visits to marinas, raft-ups, or any other exciting activity the
club may approve. Road trips & activities have been:
-
The Edison Parade in Ft. Myers
-
Anchor-outs (rafting) at Boca Lake,
Lake Sylvia, Haulover, etc.
-
New Year's Eve at Sailfish Marina in
Palm Beach
-
MacArthur Beach Nature Preserve
-
Key West Adventure Catamaran from
Miami to Key West.
-
A club picnic (or event to be
determined) is planned in the Fall.
-
Our annual Holiday Party and
Installation dinner is in December.
If we sound interesting and
enjoyable to be with - why not spend an evening at one of our meetings
and see for yourself.
Please
call one of our members listed above, to find out when and where our next
